Eveleen invites you to Stilbaai, a charming seaside village, just off the N2 between Riversdale and Albertinia. The Buttercup is on the beachfront where the Goukou River meets the sea. The Buttercup Accommodation Upstairs, two luxurious en-suite bedrooms share a lounge with cozy fireplace and balcony. Downstairs are another 2 en-suite bedrooms with kitchenette, lounge and patio. Breakfast is a treat, with picnic baskets on request.

Things to do in the area include: Golf, bowls, tennis, fishing, walking trails, bird watching, scuba diving and discovering ancient fish traps. Great whale watching spot. No credit cards and no smoking.

Situated on the coast of the Southern Cape, Still Bay is a beautiful seaside resort known for its scenic beauty and peaceful atmosphere.
Together with nearby Jongensfontein and Melkhoutfontein, the area attracts people from all over the country, especially during the warm dry summer months.

Visitors are offered wide open spaces, a tranquil river, white sandy beaches and the weather in which to enjoy it all – moderate days and still, languid evenings.

Amenities in the area of Stillbaai include: Supermarkets, clothing stores, décor shops, books and stationary shops, antique shops, gifts and sports shops, butcheries and bakeries, laundromats, a hardware store, a service station and a garage.

There are numerous restaurants, coffee shops and take-away outlets.
The Still Bay community are also benefited by churches, schools, old age homes, libraries, and a tourism bureaux.

Stillbaai has an abundance of fauna and flora, especially the selection of fynbos, and a large variety of wild, marine and bird life have always been a source of enjoyment.
The unique harbour culture, that was the basis of the original economy, is of special interest to those who visit. Suitable whale-watching sites are situated, amongst others, above the Still Bay harbour.

· Botanical gardens in Palingkloof and at Melkhoutfontein.
· Nature Reserves: Pauline Bohnen, Geelkrans and private reserves.
· Tame hand-fed eels viewed at the tourism Bureau at 11h00 daily, except Sundays.
· Fish traps constructed by Strandlopers and visible at low tide.
· Bird watching.
· Various sporting amenities: Golf, bowls, squash, tennis, bisley, horse riding (in season), water sports, fishing, angling and scuba diving.
· Hiking routes and leisure walks.
· Local art route.
· Soete Arbeid, the tourist craft workshop at Melkhoutfontein.
