On arrival a welcoming sherry and a huge log fire in the lounge
Each bedroom has its own romantic four-poster king-size bed draped with a silk mosquito net and of course, a log fireplace.
Each also has its own bathroom with an old-fashioned ball and claw bath and lots of candles.

After settling in, why not drop down onto one of the many overstuffed couches in front of the fire for liqueurs and a good book.
We are on a lovely protected cove on the south western shore of St Helena Bay; one of the only three natural bays on the mainland coastlines of the world, where one can see both sunset and sunrise over the sea with wonderful views of the Piketberg mountains which is often snow covered in winter

This beautiful room with an ethnic feel has a king-size four-poster bed, silk mosquito netting, lots of pillows and a puffy white feather duvet.
Double doors lead out onto a lovely koi pond garden filled with the sound of water and birds singing.
A large Victorian-style bath, big enough for two with adjoining shelf and candelabra, invite one to have a candlelight bath time picnic, maybe with champagne and strawberries.
A log fire burning close by adds the finishing touches to a romantic evening.

Directions to Goblin Creek Manor House
Take the R27 from Cape Town. Turn left towards Vredenberg and travel 10 km.
At the first set of traffic lights in Vredenberg, turn right onto the R399 and travel for 10 km.
Then turn left at the St Helena Bay/Stompneus Bay turn-off and travel 17 km in a westerly direction.
Take the second road left after De Agterbaaier Superette in front of St Helena Bay fishing.
We are the last house on the left-hand side of Concorde Drive.
