Somerset Gift Getaway Farm lies in a beautiful valley bordering the foothills of the majestic Langeberg Mountains, just 16 kilometre from Swellendam. Combining an idyllic and peaceful setting, with stunning mountain views and green pastures dotted with Hereford cattle and horses, a spring water lake, and the Buffeljags River skirting the length of the farm, waterfalls and rock pools. There is a choice of four gorgeous accommodation options to enjoy
it all from: Fish Eagle Lodge (sleeps six in three spacious en-suite
bedrooms), Loerie Cottage (two bedrooms)and Rose Cottage (two bedrooms
both en-suite) both sleep four, and Olive Cottage (one bedroom),
sleeps two. Common to all the above are fully-equipped kitchens,
indoor fireplaces and outdoor undercover patio braais - firewood
is available for sale (50 pieces are supplied free of charge). |

Fish Eagle Lodge
This stunning luxury lodge sleeps six in three large bedrooms all en-suite,
large lounge and dining room flowing onto a huge house and leisure style
undercover furnished patio with unsurpassed views of the spring-fed lake,
mountain and green pastures.
Fish Eagle lodge has a fully equipped kitchen, indoor fireplace and outdoor
undercover braai.
All linen and bath towels are supplied - guests need to bring their own
swimming towels.
Loerie Cottage
This lovely cottage set on the spring-fed lake sleeps four in two bedrooms,
it has a spacious lounge and dining area opening out into a large veranda.
Loerie Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, indoor fireplace and outdoor
undercover patio braai.
All linen and bath towels are supplied.
Guests need to bring their own swimming towels.
Olive Cottage
This quaint cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedroom, 1 double bed and 2 singles,it
has a sizable lounge and dining area with an awesome all weather patio.
Olive cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, indoor fireplace and outdoor
undercover braai. All linen and bath towels are supplied. Guests need
to bring their own swimming towels.
Rose Cottage
This gorgeous cottage sleeps four in two en-suite bedrooms, large indoor
living area leading onto a lovely all weather patio.
Rose Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, indoor fireplace and outdoor
undercover braai.
All linen and bath towels are supplied. Guests need to bring their own
swimming towels.

Directions to Somerset Gift Getaway Farm
Directions from Cape Town: Follow the N2 past Swellendam.
9km after the east entrance to Swellendam turn left off the N2 at the
Sparrebosch turnoff.
Follow the dirt road for 7km and you will get to the farm gate at the
end of the valley.
