Serenity Retreat is set in the peaceful and friendly Village of Storms River and is a calm and relaxed escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It is also a safe haven for cost conscious travellers. Serenity is not Freedom from the Storm but peace within the Storms and here there is enough space and privacy to retreat, relax and restore your soul. To contemplate nature and life, breathe the pure air and gaze at unpolluted skies. |

Marvel at the forces of nature as evident in the Tsitsikamma as you walk beneath huge multi-hued skies, savouring the sights and sounds of the indigenous forests, the fynbos and Indian Ocean at the nearby Storms River Mouth– the home of the world famous Otter Trail.
The Guest Accommodation
The options are affordable and stylishly simple, clean and comfy, spacious and secure. Whilst we do not go in for costly fancy frills – home comforts, care and attention are assured – abundant hot water, heaters in all rooms, comfy beds, fresh linen and space and privacy to unwind and relax.
The accommodation is fully equipped for Self Catering we and able to offer catering options for groups by prior arrangement. Continental Breakfasts can be provided. Serenity Retreat offer Free WI-FI and a small DVD library.
Serenity House
The exclusive Self Catering house – the décor and colour
schemes of the rooms reflect elements of nature. An ideal venue for families,
groups of friends and a gathering place for small teambuilding and retreat
groups.
Oodles of space – homely and comfortable - the house easily sleeps up to 9 people, 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with DSTV and DVD player. There is a covered stoep with braai.
The 2 Rondavels
The 2 Rustic Brick and Thatch Rondavels sit next to each other in the
garden and have views of the Tsitsikamma Mountains and Fynbos. They are
our best the Budget option - ideal for the independent cost conscious
traveller on a budget break who wants comfort, warmth, space and privacy.
Both have en-suite shower and toilet and share a separate fully equipped communal kitchen, dining and small sitting room. The kitchen cabin also has a stoep and portable braai for guest use.
