Vindoux is a family run guest farm only 90minutes from Cape Town, we offer our guests a unique opportunity to stay on a working fruit farm while relaxing and being pampered. Located just 5 Km from the centre of historic Tulbagh the farm is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the Cape. Vindoux is home to the only luxury tree houses in the Western Cape, each with stunning views over the orchards and Saronsberg Mountains. We also have rustic self-catering cottages, a luxury Day Spa, equipped Gym and onsite dining..

Take time to explore the orchards, try a little fishing in our stocked dam or simply relax along side the pool in our manicured gardens

Luxury Tree Houses:
Our romantic, secluded Tree Houses offer you luxury accommodation combined with awe inspiring views! Each Tree House sleeps 2 people and has a full en-suite bathroom including a large spa bath, fine linen, tea and coffee facilities and romantic ambiance.
Enjoy a light breakfast or evening sundowner on your private tree top stoep overlooking the orchards and majestic Saronsberg Mountains.

Honeymoon Suite:
Our luxury tree house honeymoon suite is the perfect place to start your life together, or just for an extra special treat! Larger than our other tree houses it is set in a forestry area for your privacy and has an indoor seating area and larger bathroom.. It also has a covered area on the balcony for rainy days.

Self Catering Cottages:
Our self catering cottages are ideal for budget breaks, small groups and families. We have two 2 bedroom cottages and two 1 bedroom cottages.
All units have en-suite showers and 1 bedroom units have corner baths.
Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, bedding and towels, indoor fireplace for cold winter nights and patio with braai area for summer. They are only a short walk through the vineyards from our large swimming pool and spa.

Whether you are looking for a last break “babymoon” before baby arrives, a homeymoon treat or a spa breakaway we have a selection of packages incorporating spa treatments, accommodation, and other goodies.

Onsite Dining:
If you are looking for a relaxing break, without leaving the farm our on-site Chef John Coller is here to provide you with delicious homemade dishes for you to enjoy in your room or one of our picnic sites.

For a romantic meal for 2 try our in-room dining, 2 or 3 course meals available, delivered to your room fresh from the kitchen.
Our menu changes weekly and all meals are freshly prepared using the finest ingredients.

Having a family weekend and don't know what to cook for the kids? Order one of our homemade frozen meals, simply warm in the oven!

Picnics now available! Enjoy the beautiful summer weather either around the pool, at the dam or relaxing on your stoep with a delicious picnic.

We also stock a selection of beers, ciders and local wines to be enjoyed on the farm.

Dining Alfresco:
Vindoux has 3 large braai areas for guests to use. The first is in the main garden next to our 15m swimming pool surrounded by beautiful trees.
This is the perfect spot for small groups and tree house guests to enjoy a relaxed braai. If you are looking for something a little larger we have a large boma braai area at the self catering cottages, complete with 3 braais and a large central fire place. This is perfect for large groups and family gatherings.

Vindoux Day Spa:
Vindoux Day Spa provides you with a personal spa experience like no other.
Our highly qualified therapists will guide you through your healing journey with expert hands. Our treatments are Fynbos inspired giving them a unique feel and aroma, we combine this with an Eastern twist using Thai massage techniques and other exotic ingredients. Share your spa experience with a loved one in our couples treatment room or prepare for the gift of life with a pregnancy massage on a specialized bed.

All our Fynbos Therapy body wraps and massage blends are hand made using the finest essential oils from the area, assuring you a quality product with no harmful additives. Whether you want a quick pick me up or a day of pampering we can make a package to suit your needs!

Vindoux Bridal Services:
The Tulbagh Valley boasts some of the most beautiful wedding venues in the Boland, we are here to make sure you are looking and feeling a million dollars for your big day! We provide professional hair and make-up services along with all your other pampering needs.

Activities include:
Relaxing by the Pool:
Vindoux boasts the largest pool in Tulbagh, measuring 15 metres x 8 metres x 2.4 metres deep it is naturally heated by Tulbagh's glorious all year round sun. The pool is a real suntrap, set in stunning surroundings. This is the perfect place for parents to relax while the kids play.

Gym:
After filling up on fine wine and good food the health concious amongst you might want to take some time out for some exercise. Vindoux has a bright and airy fully equipped private gym, which includes a comprehensive suite of Cardiovascular and Body Building equipment. Professional staff are on duty to see to all your gyming needs. For a small fee the gym is available for use by residential guests.

Cycle Hire:
What better way to enjoy this beautiful valley than by bike? We offer 1/2 and full day cycle hire leaving you free to enjoy the numerous farm roads through orchards or nearby wine farms. Hire includes helmets and water and your bike is equipped with a wine carrier for any purchases.

Dam Fishing:
Our large dam across the road from the main farm is well stocked with carp and bass and is also home to countless species of birds including Fish Eagles, Blue Cranes and many water fowl species. We have fishing rods and tackle to hire.

Tulbagh’s Historic Architecture:
From tasting award winning wines to hiking in the mountains Tulbagh has a little something for everyone! For those who enjoy history have a walk down Historical Church Street which is the only street in South Africa to have 32 National Monuments.

Wine Tasting:
Tulbagh has a great selection of wine farms which offer tastings and cellar tours;we can arrange tours and tastings or contact them directly.

Museums:
Tulbagh has 3 wonderful museums for you to visit including the earthquake museum on Historical Church street documenting the 1969 earthquake along with other interesting facts about Tulbagh.

The Great Outdoors:
For those whole like to be out in the veld enjoying nature at its best, Tulbagh has hiking trails, fishing, horse riding and canoeing to offer.

The Waterfall – this is a must see for nature enthusiasts! Only a 15minute walk to a beautiful waterfall and pools to swim in.

Other hiking trails include Murlindi trails which offers a 10km or 4km hike in the beautiful Winterhoek.

Silwerfontein just outside Tulbagh has 1 and 2 day guided trails to caves along with boating and fishing in their large dam.
