It is from our moments of solitude, amidst peaceful surroundings, that we draw the strength and understanding to face the noisy confusion of life. Indabushee Game Lodge is a quiet, malaria-free haven situated just three hours drive from Johannesburg in the scenic Waterberg Bushveld in the Northern Province of South Africa. Our trained staff will see to your every need, from luxury accommodation
and meals to professional guides to ensure an unforgettable experience.

we are able to offer several options including hunting, game drives,
bush walks and photography. |

At the end of your stay we can also arrange fishing and bird shooting trips at other venues. The main lodge is set amongst indigenous trees at the edge of a large plain and guests can watch herds of game against the backdrop of an African sunset.
To ensure the service and attention that you expect, we limit the number of guests to 8 people at a time. Transfers from Johannesburg International Airport to the lodge are provided. There is also a 1200m airstrip near our property should you wish to transfer elsewhere.

Indabushee Game Lodge Accommodation
In the heart of the waterberg, Indabushee lodge offers luxury accommodation
and pampered service for our guests.
Indabushee Game Lodge's luxury camp overlooks a large open plain where
guests will often see plains antelope at a nearby waterhole.
The accommodation at the main lodge comprises 4 thatch chalets each
with magnificent views of the African bushveld.
The chalets are either single or double units and all have en suite bathrooms
and are serviced daily.
Sumptuous meals are taken in our spectacular boma with its magnificent views of the plains. Guests can also enjoy their favourite drinks at our "African pub" at the end of a long day in the bush.
Amongst the indigenous trees around the lodge there is a plunge pool and at night you can sit around an open fire and watch the African sky whilst listening to the night sounds around you.
BUSH CAMP
Indabushee has also developed a small-secluded "Bush Lodge"
for those who want to get away from it all and will "self cater".
The rustic lodge has 3 chalets, ablution block and lapa.
Indabushee Game Lodge Activities
Hunting
Indabushee lodge offers the following services to hunters:
· Transfers from Johannesburg International Airport
· Accommodation, meals and drinks
· Trackers, skinners and camp staff, Licenses and export permits
· Field preparation of trophies.
RIFLE
The reserve is approximately 1100 hectares of bushveld and boasts 29 resident
species ranging from Eland to Steenbok and a number of small carnivores
as well as abundant bird life.
Through careful game management Indabushee boast many exceptional trophy animals including a SCI No. 2 Kudu bull measured at 66 inches. There are no limitations on species that can be hunted on Indabushee or associated concessions. Species include the Big 5, Sable and Lechwe.
HANDGUN HUNTING
Nico Vos was one of the first hunters in South Africa to hunt with a handgun
and most species, with the exception of Big 5 can be hunted on the reserve.
Handgun hunting can be done from special hides or on foot.
BOW HUNTING
Through the use of specially constructed hides at natural and artificial
water holes, Nico is able to attract a wide variety of game to a comfortable
range. All resident species can be bow hunted.
JUNIOR HUNTING
Indabushee is an ideal venue for young men and women to experience their
first hunting experience. Nico and staff will provide young people with
a basic course in animal management, nature conservation, tracking and
hunting and then also their first actual hunt.
Other Activities
Indabushee also caters for those of us that just want to get away from
the hustle and bustle of city life. Many guests come to the Lodge especially
for our game viewing and bird watching or just to get away from it all.
Whilst some people might like to laze around the camp our highly trained
staff will introduce you to many species of game and also provide information
on the flora and fauna.
GAME VIEWING
We offer guided vehicle and walking game viewing on our reserve and adjoining
conservancies. Night drives can also be arranged. These tours afford you
an opportunity to see, at close quarters, many species of game and numerous
birds.
HIKING AND WALKS
There are a number of planned hikes on our own and other reserves in the
area, which allow close up encounters with the wildlife of the area. Our
guides are specially trained to advise on flora and fauna.
BUSHMAN PAINTINGS
We are fortunate to have 2 "Bushman" sites on our reserve where
the centuries old rock art is clearly visible. Nico has some fascinating
insights into the people that lived in this area.
FISHING
Safaris can be arranged to suit your individual needs including trips
to Natal North Coast, Sodwana Bay, Richard's Bay and Cape Vidal for deep-sea
diving and fishing.
EXCURSIONS
After a successful hunt and if you have some time to see other parts of
South Africa we can arrange:
· Bird shooting - game bird and water fowl.
· Trout fishing - wild browns and rainbow
· Deep sea fishing - game, bottom and bill fish
We can also arrange excursions to Sun City, Kruger Park and many other attractions.
SKYDIVING
Indabushee launched "JUMP AND HUNT" at their resort, when a
crowd of intrepid and adventurous guests partook in the first ever parachuting
and hunting weekend ever. We are still the only game ranch in South Africa
that offers this exciting activity. Indabushee has introduced a new and
exciting adventure at the reserve.
