KOLOLO RESTAURANT:
Choice from a variety of mouth-watering dishes from our à la Carte
Menu prepared by our gourmet chef.
Guests can also unwind with a book in front of the fire or share your
game experiences with the other guests over a drink in the bar area.
Kololo's restaurant can seat up to 90 guests, is available for private functions and is disabled friendly.
SWIMMING POOL
The (heated) swimming pool is located in front of the restaurant, surrounded
by a wooden terrace with sun beds and parasols. Drinks and snacks can
be ordered from the restaurant. The swimming pool is available at no charge
to all guests.
TELEPHONE AND INTERNET
Kololo offers its guests a modern VOIP-telephone system. From the reception,
the restaurant, the conference room and Kings & Queens, all villas,
and Fish Eagle, the system can be used.
From these locations you also have access to our wireless internet. But
remember: you are in the African bush. Extreme weather conditions can
cause systems to fail from time to time.
CURIO SHOP
There is a souvenir shop in the reception. Here you can buy caps, shirts
and other clothing, decorated with the Kololo logo. There is also a nice
collection of local souvenirs to support the local community.

AIR STRIP
Kololo Game Reserve offers a charter flight service. Guests are collected
at Johannesburg International Airport and proceed to Wonderboom airfield
in Pretoria (approximately 40 minutes), where they are flown in either
a 6 seater Seneca, 8 seater Chieftain or a 14 seater Caravan. This is
a 45 minute flight over the picturesque Waterberg mountain range to Kololo
Game Reserve.

Kololo has Dutch owners with an office in Gouda, The
Netherlands. Richard and Elize Oosthuijzen, our South African management
couple in Kololo, both have extensive experience in the running of a lodge.
Our Mission: "Kololo Game Reserve strives to give guests a once in
a lifetime African wildlife experience, whilst upholding the African way
of life by empowering our local community and protecting the wildlife".
DIRECTIONS
Take the R21 north to Pretoria(Tswane). Closer to Pretoria turn off from
the R21 onto the N1 and continue north past Pretoria direction Pietersburg(Polokwane).
Turn left on the R33 to Nylstroom(Modimolle) at the Kranskop toll gate.
Go through Nylstroom and through Vaalwater(Mabatlane) (Do not turn right
on R33 to Ellisras in Vaalwater - continue straight to Bulgeriver/Thabazimbi)
and 8km after Vaalwater turn left on the Bakkerspas road (there is a sign
to Kololo).
Drive 29 km on a dirt road and find Kololo's gate on your right. Total
distance from Airport to Kololo about 280km.
