GARDEN ROUTE SANDCASTLE ACCOMMIDATION

Private Beach Resort:
A 24 hour entrance ensures your safety. Take a 2 minute stroll along the boardwalk to the long stretch of unspoiled beach, very safe for swimming, surfing, boating and fishing. Several walking trails along the coast, as well as a 4x4 dune track.

Accommodation:
Spacious bedroom suites complete with luxurious linen, towels and toiletries, with either a covered balcony or verandah mostly with a spectacular views of the ocean - where you can sit and have a sundowner, or watch the whales, dolphins and birds.

The Penthouse Suite For Two
The penthouse has a luxury suite with a private balcony, a private open plan lounge / kitchen and dining corner with indoor fireplace / barbeque. From the lounge a door leads out towards a private garden terrace. All rooms have a stunning view of the sea and surrounding fynbos gardens.

The bed couch in the lounge can be used to sleep another 2 persons (or small children) for free if own bedding is provided.

Apartments
There are private self catering facilities available. They can cater for either 2,4 or 6 adults. Kitchens are fully equipped with fridge, freezer, stove, microwave oven and the necessary kitchen and eating utensils, cutlery and crockery, as well as a private dining corner.
Guests can also make use of several in and outdoor barbeque facilities.

Catering:
Enjoy the stunning view of the ocean from the Balck Oystercatcher dining room where breakfast and dinner are served on request. Picnic baskets are available for lunch. Splendid cuisine selected from our menu.
Private self catering facilities also available with a kitchen fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, stove, microwave oven and all the necessary utensils, cutlery and crockery.

Guests can also make use of several in and outdoor barbeque (braai) areas. A supermarket is within walking distance for food supplies and other necessities (limited business hours - please enquire).

In House Recreation:
Games room with big screen TV, DSTV and pool table. Indoor whirlpool, gardens and roof garden with deck chairs and garden furniture for your leisure.

ATTRACTIONS
Take a 5 minute stroll along the boardwalk to the long stretch of unspoiled sandy beach, very safe for swimming, surfing, boating, fishing and hiking. Launching of boats, jet-ski’s etc. allowed.

4 X 4 Dune Track
Within 1 km is Rietjie’s 4 x 4 Dune track – rated as one of the best tracks SA has to offer. A trailer drive can also be enjoyed if you do not own a 4 x 4.

Franshoek Eco Sanctuary
The fishing paradise featuring “Die Saal” where you are virtually deep sea fishing from a cliff protruding into the ocean. Also the ideal spot for whale watching.

DIRECTIONS
On the N2, travelling from Cape Town towards Mosselbay
pass Albertinia
take the first turn-off to the right towards Gouritzmond
turn left towards Vleesbaai at the first crossing,
cross the bridge and turn right at the T junction
turn right at the next tarred road towards Vleesbaai

On the N2 travelling from George Airport towards Cape Town,
pass Mossel Bay
take the first turn-off to the left towards Vleesbaai (opposite Petro SA).
Pass the turn-offs to Nautilus Bay, Springer Bay and Boggomsbaai
Turn left at the next road towards Vleesbaai.

Go through the security entrance, turn left at the first tarred road at the “Driehoek” signboard (before the Vleesbaai Supermarket), and right at the next street. We are at the end of the cul-de-sac)
