Redlands Hotel Accommodation

Redlands Hotel offers the finest accommodation in Pietermaritzburg, and is one of the best hotels to stay at in Pietermaritzburg. The rooms are situated on either the 1st or 2nd floor of the original hotel or on the ground and 1st floors of the new wing, which was completed in 2007. All of the rooms are beautifully appointed.

The Premier and Library suites in particular boast beautiful views over the tree tops and have private lounges or studies. All guests have access to either wireless or ADSL internet connections, the use of which is complimentary. Air-conditioning, satellite television and direct dial phone all come as standard along with complimentary tea and coffee stations.

We have 5 Two bedroom and 1 One bedroom lodge in addition to the hotel rooms. Due to their popularity with long stay guests, requests for, these need to be made directly to the hotel. Our reception desk is manned 24 hours a day, should you require any assistance.

Premier Suites
The premier suites consist of 4 units with beautiful views overlooking the gardens and vistas of Pietermaritzburg. All have private lounges, which are perfect for small intimate meetings

Deluxe Suites
Our Deluxe suites are anything but standard. The main hotel houses 6 rooms whilst the new wing has an additional 10.

Two library suites overlook the hotel pool. An open plan study gives ample space for the corporate traveler

Redlands Hotel Lodges
The lodges at Redlands consists of 5 two bedroom and one single bedroom self-catering unit. All are well appointed and very popular for our long staying guests.

Restaurant and Bar

The hotel has a fully licensed bar and restaurant. Our whiskey collection is growing and there is surely something to satisfy your taste. The beers are always cold and there are few better place to relax after a long day, having a drink by the pool in summer or around the fireplace in winter.

Our wines will compliment your meal in the Blue Room where our chefs reputation is seeing wonderful reviews. Breakfasts are a great way to start the day with either a continental or full English breakfast available. Although we are open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner, bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.

Weddings

Redlands is an ideal venue for smaller more intimate weddings. Our Redlands Room can comfortably accommodate up to 70 guests. The addition of a covered verandah has greatly increased the appeal of this venue. The gardens of the estate also offer ample photographic opportunities.

Numerous options abound with vows being taken on the patio below the hotel, canapes and welcome drinks around the swimming pool and in the gardens followed by a fantastic reception in the Redlands Room.
