DINING
In summer months enjoy dining on the gracious Cape Dutch veranda at the manor house. In winter guests dine in front of the roaring log fire in our dining room.

Breakfast served 8.30am - 10.30am weekdays or weekends 9am - 11am. Or of you prefer breakfast can be brought to the comfort of your room at the time of your choosing.

The retreat offers light lunches, snacks and pool snacks, enjoy a glass of chilled rose over lunch on the stoop with views of the mountains.

Or take a stroll through the vineyard to the estates daytime restaurant The Stone Kitchen open wed-Sunday 8am-4pm and Thursday evenings.

Enjoy complimentary wine tasting in the early evening as the sunsets and the mountains turn crimson, with Estate wines, olives and nibbles.The cellar is open daily and is also home to the stone kitchen restaurant, open Wednesday- Sunday for breakfast, lunch and teas.

Evening meals are on offer - enjoy a three course Table D'hote menu at the Retreat - prior booking is essential. Please note that we are closed for dinner on Thursday evenings between October and May when the Stone Kitchen is open for Thursday dinners.

Wellington boasts many wonderful restaurants, three of which are within a 5 minute drive away.

Bovlei Valley Retreat is ideally located to explore the Western Cape. Only 45 minutes from Cape Town, 15 minutes from Paarl and 30 minutes from Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

Bovlei Valley Retreat is an exclusive venue for an intimate wedding, anniversary, birthday or another special occasion. We provide exceptional service with a homely and personal touch. Each event is organized and run personally by the owners Abbi & Lee Wallis.

When hosting your special occasion at Bovlei Valley Retreat you have exclusive hire of the venue and guest house including all five guest suite. We ensure a truly warm, friendly and personal atmosphere. We can accommodate up to 30 guests.

KIDS
Dunstone is family friendly with an exciting jungle gym, sandpit, toddler play area, swings, a boule court, board games, a lawned area to run and play and Ducks to feed at the dam.
