Diemersfontein Wine and Country Estate has 30 en suite bedrooms with several other rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Set around the magnificent manor house gardens, or in one of our three estate cottages - Blue gum Cottage, Thokozani Heaven's Eye and Thokozani Summers Lease Cottage - each with their own kitchenette and verandah, overlooking the iconic vineyards and farm dam.

All rooms and cottages are furnished in a comfortable country style and are ideal for those preferring privacy and independence. There is an option of single or double/twin beds throughout. Guests are welcome to enjoy the facilities available at this wonderful third generation family estate.

Seasons Restaurant
Seasons at Diemersfontein, is a bright fresh contemporary restaurant set in the heart of the Wellington winelands.
Seasons offers panoramic views over the farm dam and horse paddocks across to surrounding mountain ranges and Paarl Rock.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Seasons' menu offers a variety of dishes using fresh, local and seasonal produce. Our Chef has put together menus that are both original and delicious and reflect the changing seasons (winter and summer).

Things to do
Situated on the Wellington Wine Route, in the beautiful Cape winelands and just 45 minutes from Cape Town, Diemersfontein is a third-generation family wine estate that holds tradition and authenticity close to its heart. Surrounded by panoramic mountain ranges, the estate offers visitors the opportunity to experience many aspects of life on a wine farm.

From leisurely lazing around the swimming pool, to horse riding, picnics, mountain trails and walks or wine tasting, you are ensured of an enjoyable and relaxing time at Diemersfontein.

Keen golfers will be reassured that there are eight courses within half an hour's drive. Nearby facilities for visitors include neighbouring farms on the Wellington Wine Route, a sunset game drive, a beauty/spa facility, cheese and olive sampling and buying, golf courses and other attractions.
The popular towns of Franschoek, Tulbagh, Paarl and Stellenbosch are within 30/40 minutes drive. Diemersfontein serves as an ideal base for exploring the attractions of the Winelands.

Through vineyards and fynbos foothills from 1 hour to 3 day trails can be arranged through Diemersfontein or Fynbos Trails
Vineyard Tractor rides
Minimum of 6 people, can be arranged.

CONFERENCES
The Thokozani Conference centre on Diemersfontein offers a variety of conference packages and options, tailor-made to suit your needs.
The Conference centre on the estate was once used as a large fruit-packing shed. (Pakhuis), and has retained its rustic charm with oregon pine-beamed ceiling and original cold storage room doors.

This well-equipped conference centre, with air-conditioning, entertainment area, all modern conference equipment and a large veranda overlooking the horse paddocks and farm dam, continues to provide a platform for great ideas and strategies. Conference delegates can unwind in our tranquil, country surroundings, leaving the stresses of city life behind and enjoying a complete change of environment.

Team Building
Thokozani Conferences at Diemersfontein offers various team-building activities. Unique to Diemersfontein is the "Management Game", designed and facilitated by David Sonnenberg (Diemersfontein CEO) - who has extensive experience in management training and assessment.

We move around the estate, learning about the businesses run on Diemersfontein, and use materials and tools to achieve both indoor and outdoor tasks.

With time perimeters involved, the game provides the opportunity to demonstrate your skills of strategic planning, delegation and lateral thinking. Although it is not physically demanding, a bit of walking around the grounds is required.

The game – which can be designed as a light-hearted or more in-depth process depending on the organization's needs - (up to three hours). To introduce a bit of reality the materials are customized for each client.

At its conclusion there is an opportunity to consider one's own and the team's approach and style. It could be a benefit to programme the game early on in the conference so the issues raised can be carried forward into the rest of the team building experience, pinpointing a delegate's:

Our wedding co-ordinator can recommend any number of service providers from flowers, free-form coverings and photography to gazebos, draping, décor and music.
Be it a wedding, anniversary, birthday, or any other celebration, Diemersfontein provides the attention to detail and personal service to ensure that your indoor or garden function will be a success, and that you will be able to relax and enjoy yourselves.

BANQUET HALL
Our banqueting venue accommodates 80 people with dancing and 100 people without dancing.
Menu prices exclude hire of function hall and gardens. An additional venue hire is charged for tables, chairs, linen, crockery and cutlery.

Catering and Menus
Seasons Restaurant offers a variety of menus that can be tailor-made to suit your specific requirements. Brunch and Lunch Menu's are for weekday and Friday weddings only.

Outside caterers are only allowed under exceptional circumstances.

Bar Facilities
Diemersfontein is fully licensed and a full bar can be set up to your specifications.

Diemersfontein offers our own award-winning red and white wine varietals – Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Pinotage, Viognier, blends such as Summer's Lease, Thokozani red and white blends and Thokozani Rose. Diemersfontein wines are offered to you at special wedding prices. Since we are a wine estate we regret that no other wine may be brought in to your function.

Garden Functions:
Functions in our garden are truly memorable occasions. With the Cape mountains and rolling farmlands as the backdrop, it is perhaps one of the most beautiful places to get married, and enjoy your special event. We can cater for up to 200 people per event staged in the gardens.
