Seringa Lodge Accommodation

Seringa Lodge has luxury accommodation in 7 spacious en-suite rooms and 1 two bedroom family suite. All rooms have garden views and are individually decorated with colourful stylish African influences. The guest house is child friendly with lots of space for the children to run freely.
For that luxurious feeling all rooms have comfortable single- or King size beds with 100% cotton percale linen, mosquito nets, ceiling fans and heaters.

The lodge includes a lounge, with teak floors and high ceiling, complimented with a huge fireplace, a separate TV lounge with satellite television and honesty bar.
A large covered outside sitting area and a tree shaded deck look out over the swimming pool giving you plenty of space to relax after a day of exploration.

Our breakfasts and dinners are guaranteed to delight the most refined palate. Garden fresh vegetables and fruit are used as much as possible. The meals can be enjoyed either in the tastefully decorated dining area, the beautiful garden or in the traditional African Boma if the weather permits.

The lodge is only half an hour drive from Kruger National Park. The Kruger Park lies between the towering escarpment of the northern Drakensberg and the Mozambique coastal plains.

Seringa Lodge is also only a short distance from all the scenic routes available. Which include Pilgrim's Rest, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Potholes, God's Window, Sudwala Caves just to mention a few.
Don't miss the opportunity to catch up on some golf while visiting Seringa Lodge. There are five 18-hole golf courses within an hour drive and eight 9-hole courses with in the same distance.
Not to be missed is the golf course in Skukuza that lies inside the Kruger National Park. It is rated one of the most enjoyable courses to play, with wild game free to roam the greens and fairways in this beautiful setting.

- Kruger Park Safari
Seringa Lodge offers day tours into the world famous Kruger National Park. These game drives are led by an experienced guide and are conducted on an open game viewer.
These vehicles are designed to enhance your game viewing and photographic experience. The elevated seats will give a distinct advantage for spotting wild life.
We offer half and full day trips and availability and pricing are available on request. Vehicle capacity is 10 guests.

- Bush Walks
Bushwalks are 3 hours long and contain detailed and interesting information about birds, trees, spoor medicinal plants and superstitions.

- Bird watching
Our large indigenous garden serves as a great attraction to the birds in the area. Seringa Lodge’s bird list contains over a hundred species including the rare and sought after bat hawks, nesting a mere 300 meters from the lodge.

- Golf and Safari Tour
This Golf and Safari Package includes the spectacular Blyde River Canyon with its beautiful scenery, a visit to the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, Shangana Cultural Village, 2½ days of safari in the Kruger Park and five rounds of golf.

The trip starts in Johannesburg and ends in Durban with a couple of golf rounds at two stunning courses north of Durban. Also included is a guided sightseeing in Durban. A guide will accompany you throughout the tour.
The tour package includes all accommodation, safari guide, green fees and transfers from your arrival in Johannesburg until departure in Durban 15 days later.

White River is located approximately 350 km east of Johannesburg. It’s an easy drive, with highway almost the whole way. Alternatively there is shuttle service from the OR Tambo International Airport to Nelspruit daily, Nelspruit is located 20km from the lodge.
It’s also possible to fly to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP) which is located a short 15 min drive form Seringa lodge.

How To Get To Seringa Lodge

From Hazyview
Take the R40 south towards White River. Just before White River the road passes a shopping centre called “Caster Bridge Farm”.
Continue straight and at the third traffic light turn left. Travel +/- 3 km, the road will go down a dip and over a small bridge, turn next right into Yaverland.
Yaverland will do a right turn (straight is a dirt road) and Seringa Lodge is +/- 400m down the road on the right hand side, no. 33 Yaverland Road.

From Johannesburg
Depart Airport following the signs to Boksburg. After a few kilometers, take the N12 towards Witbank / Middelberg (Now also called Emalahleni). The N12 eventually merges with the N4.
Stay on the N4 towards Middelberg and continue through Machadodorp. Just after the Machadodorp Toll Plaza, the road to Nelspruit splits.

Take the road to Nelspruit via Schoemanskloof. Just before Nelspruit, the road splits to Maputo or Nelspruit centre. Take the road to Maputo and take the first off ramp to White River. At the T Junction, turn right.
Go straight through the traffic circles and continue until you see the Mercedes Agency on your left. Turn left onto the R40 towards White River and Hazyview.

You will pass through an industrial park called Rocky drift and shortly after that, turn right towards the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.
Continue until you reach a 3 way stop where you turn left. Then take the first road right (Yaverland Road) After 3.5 km you will see Seringa lodge on the left.
