Accommodation at 137 Pillars House
The home-style residential concept at our Chiang Mai luxury hotel allows guests to participate and share in the richness of a like-minded international community; while creating plenty of space for sublime intimacy in sumptuous suites and throughout our tropical grounds.
Our guests can look forward to the same nostalgic ambience in all 30 suites, along with modern comforts and conveniences that you would expect at the finest Chiang Mai luxury hotel.
Rajah Brooke Suite
All larger than 70 square metres, each suite is fitted with a King bed
that extends to an airy, vintage-tiled veranda over tropical gardens with
cane shades for privacy, a rattan planter’s chair and a plush day
bed.
East Borneo Suite
Averaging 75 square metres and accessible by a private corridor, each
suite is fitted with a choice of a King bed or two Twin beds, a vast walk-in
closet, an en-suite bathroom with dual washbasins, a standing Victorian
bath and separate indoor/outdoor showers.
William Bain Terrace Suite
Overlooking the historic pillars house, infinity pool and garden wall
from the upper floor, both suites are 100 square metres.
Louis Leonowens Pool Suite
Our 135 square metres ground floor suite includes a bedroom with a King
bed, an en-suite bathroom with dual washbasins. The bedroom is separated
with french doors that leads to a generous living room overlooking the
infinity pool, garden wall and historic pillars house.
Dining and Entertainment
From breakfast in bed or on your verandah, to lunch under the sun or well-shaded daybed by the shimmering infinity pool and on to intimate dinners set up just for you in secluded tropical nooks around our bucolic grounds or throughout the day in the dramatic Dining Room.

The 19th century directors of the British Borneo Company would certainly be impressed by our modern meeting facility equipped with all necessary business centre services, an extensive gourmet food and beverage menu selection.
The multi-functional space is an ideal venue for a business meeting, training workshop, private dining function or social gathering. It can also be used as an art exhibition space featuring rotating installations in different forms and mediums.
