Stunning Views
Our visitors' book is brimming with superlatives as guests attempt to describe the stunning views down on the Zambezi River from Taita Falcon Lodge.
Neither words nor pictures seem able to do it justice; you will simply have to experience it for yourself!
The Batoka Gorge drops some 226 metres down from the lodge, providing the perfect viewing point for Rapids 16 and 17 on the river, less than 11 km from Victoria Falls.
This creates an excellent spectator sport as you watch adventurous white-water rafts and kayaks navigate these rapids.
From your chalet, paths weave across the plateau, linking to the lodge's central living area, viewing deck, swimming pool, dining area, and bar.
Take your time to enjoy the scenery around you.
In the evenings, guests can relax with a sundowner and watch the sun set over the gorge, enjoying the seclusion of our intimate "nook" lounge or sharing stories around the warming campfire.
