The Hambro Arms is located in the picturesque and historic village of Milton Abbas, in the heart of beautiful Dorset.
Milton Abbas, which features on many picture postcards of Dorset, is a 'chocolate box' village, with identical thatched cottages and a unique history.
It is believed to be the first 'planned village' in England. The bar and restaurant with rooms, offers exceptional food and newly-refurbished, contemporary bedrooms offering all of the charm of the historic building with modern conveniences.
The Hambro Arms has two recently refurbished and spacious bars as well as the elegant Library Restaurant. Customers can relax in front of our fire and enjoy a range of local ales and spirits, or choose from our wide selection of quality wines.

Sleep is blissful at the Hambro Arms. All of our en-suite rooms have been recently refurbished in a contemporary style, offering all of the charm of the historic building, with modern conveniences.
We also have a family room and a junior-suite for that special romantic weekend break.
All of our en-suite rooms have been recently refurbished. Our aim was to provide a contemporary feel, combining all of the charm of the historic building, with those essential modern conveniences.
All of our rooms have Egyptian cotton towels and sheets for that touch of luxury. The rooms also have flat-screened televisions, a hospitality tray, a hairdryer and internet access.

Standard Double: Our Standard double room is our latest addition. As the other rooms, it is decorated and furnished with a contemporary tone.
Although it is our smallest room, it still benefits from a king-sized bed and a small en-suite shower room. It has a flat-screen TV with sky Freeview channels, a hairdryer and a hospitality tray.

Superior Double: We have two Superior Rooms which are decorated and furnished with a contemporary feel.
They are considerably larger than our standard room and benefit from en-suite bathrooms with bath and shower facilities. The rooms have flat-screen TV’s with sky Freeview channels, a hairdryer and a hospitality tray.

Family Room or Junior Suite: This room is also a recent addition and is our largest room. Again, the room is decorated and furnished with a contemporary feel.
The room offers a king-sized (or twin beds). It also benefits from a large en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
For that romantic getaway this room can be set up as a junior suite, with a sitting area or alternatively, a family room with the sofa converting to a small (130cm) double sofa-bed which is suitable for 2 children or 1 adult.
It has a flat-screen TV with sky Freeview channels, a hairdryer and a hospitality tray.
