Djuma Vuyatela is an unique safari lodge in Sabi Sand offering a memorable Sabi Sand safari holiday experience. Vuyatela means 'come and visit again' and after staying in a luxury chalet combined with excellent service, you will want to come and stay again.

This Sabi Sand lodge boasts unique African art throughout its interiors. Beautiful mosaics adorn the walls while vibrant and colourful crockery decorate the tables. Each luxury chalet boasts their own teak decks and private plunge pools.

Enjoy an early cup of coffee or tea before setting off to explore the Africa bush on an exciting game drive. You could spot the Big Five, namely Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard and Buffalo. Djuma Vuyatela boasts excellent service combined with luxurious Sabi Sand lodge accommodation in spacious chalets. Each chalet boasts its own private teak deck and plunge pool, ideal for cooling off in after an exciting game drive.
Look out over the African bush from your bedroom or relax in your private lounge.
Additional features include air-conditioning, mosquito net and en-suite bathroom. Each en-suite bathroom also has an outdoor shower.

Djuma Vuyatela is a family safari lodge in Sabi Sand offering excellent game viewing opportunities combined with luxury accommodation and is home to South Africa's magnificent Big Five they offer excellent game viewing opportunities while on game drives.

Activities:
Enjoy an early cup of hot coffee and rusks (biscuits) before setting off tracking game through the African bush on an open safari vehicle. Keep your camera close by to capture your Sabi Sand safari holiday memories.
You could spot Giraffe, Spotted Hyena and Cheetah.

Keep a lookout for South Africa's Big Five, namely Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard, Lion and Rhino. Return for a delicious lunch and cool off in your own private plunge pool or discover nature up close with a bush walk. Learn more about the important role of insects.

Bush walks are also ideal for spotting some of the over 200 different bird species found in this area. You might see Burch ell's Coucal, Pygmy Kingfisher, African Fish Eagle and Dark Chanting Goshawk to name a few.

Track nocturnal African wildlife during an evening game drive. You can enjoy a sundowner surrounded by nature before tracking game by spotlight. You could see Leopards or an adorable Bushbaby while on your safari holiday in Sabi Sand.

How to get there:
Djuma Vuyatela is situated in the scenic Djuma Game Reserve in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, South Africa.
The Sabi Sand Game Reserve borders the well known Kruger National Park and shares an unfenced border, allowing African wildlife to move freely between the two.

Directions from Johannesburg:
From Johannesburg, take the N12 towards Witbank. When you pass Witbank, continue to Middleburg on the same road. Take the R540 towards Belfast, Dullstroom, Lydenburg and Origstad. Then take the Strydom Tunnel. As you approach Hoedspruit, take the R531 to Klaserie and Acornhoek.
After Acornhoek, follow the signs for Sabi Sands to the Gowrie Gate. You will have to pay an entrance fee per vehicle. Go through the gate and follow the signs to Djuma Vuyatela. Vuyatela is located 2km (1.24 miles) from the Gowrie Gate.

Directions from Hoedspruit Airport:
From Hoedspruit Airport, follow the Klaserie signs. Turn left at the T-junction onto the R531. Follow the signs towards Acornhoek and then follow the signs for Sabi Sands until you reach the Gowrie Gate. You will have to pay an entrance fee before making your way to Djuma Vuyatela.

Directions from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA):
From Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA), take the R40 and drive to White River, Hazyview, Bushbuckridge and Acornhoek. Follow the signs for Sabi Sands to the Gowrie Gate and pay an entrance fee per vehicle. Continue to Vuyatela which is situated 2km (1.24 miles) from the gate.
