Singita Ebony Lodge Accommodation

Singita Ebony Lodge offers twelve suites, all with their own en suite bathroom and shower, outside shower, heated private swimming pool, double-sided fireplace, mini bar and fridge, room mini safe, air-conditioning, overhead fans, private lounge, direct dial telephones and game-viewing deck.

Accommodation Details:
- 12 luxurious suites (24 beds). Two of the suites are double family suites.
- Each luxury air-conditioned suite consists of sumptuous bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, and an expansive living area with double-sided fireplace, mini bar and fridge and private wooden leisure decks with a heated private plunge pool. All the suites have direct dial telephones, and the library has two computers and direct internet links.
- The main lodge has lounge and timber deck dining areas overlooking the Sand River, a bar area and traditional open boma, gymnasium, health spa, library and wine cellar.
- Tariffs include all-suite accommodation, three meals per day, all drinks, including premium wines, spirits and liqueurs (excluding champagnes) and open Land Rover safaris accompanied by experienced guides and trackers.
- Children over 10 years old, sharing with 2 full paying adults, in a family suite, are accommodated at 50% of the rate. Children under 10 years old can be accommodated if the 2 family suites or the lodge are booked on an exclusive use basis.

We welcome children at our lodges. Children over the age of 10, sharing with adults, are accommodated in a family suite.
Children under the age of 10 can be accommodated if the entire lodge is block booked or if two adjoining family suites are booked. Castleton Camp accommodates children of all ages.
Family suites at Ebony & Boulders, Singita Sabi Sand
The family suites include an en-suite master bedroom and an en-suite twin bedroom, a lounge area with a stone fireplace and a private viewing deck with a heated plunge pool.
Lodge within a lodge:
Connected by a common dining/lounge veranda area, two family suites can be secured as a small ‘lodge within a lodge’ . i.e. you book two adjoining family suites and enjoy a private dining room and lounge area.
When booking ‘a lodge within a lodge’ you have the option of booking a private Land Rover and guide as well as your own private chef and butler (there is an additional charge for this service).

Please note that when booking children under the age of 10, the ‘lodge within a lodge’ option including these private services is compulsory. Safari activities are flexible and developed to suit your needs. As the suites have private access, your game drives depart directly from your door.
Children under the age of 10 are not accommodated in the main lodge (e.g. the gym, spa and dining area) as this can sometimes be distracting for other guests. For safety reasons children under the age of 6 are not permitted on a game drive vehicle.

Whether you are a connoisseur or just enjoy the occasional glass of wine, our experienced sommeliers will delight in introducing you to a vast selection of wines from all over the world, and will recommend the best choice to complement your meal.
Enjoy a wine-tasting where our sommeliers will guide you through several vineyards, countries, years and cultivars; and encourage you to sample those which they sense may suit your taste. Singita sommeliers are a group of young and enthusiastic internationally travelled individuals, dedicated to enhancing our guests’ knowledge and enjoyment of wines.
Through Singita Premier Wine Direct guests may purchase wines from our cellars: either to be taken home at the end of their trip or conveniently delivered door-to-door. As an addition to our cellar purchases, we have secured allocations of these highly limited, sought-after wines, including ‘Icons’, ‘Single Vineyard’ and ‘Limited Release’ wines, directly from leading wineries in South Africa. Stored in our temperature-controlled cellars, it is unlikely that you will find these wines freely available anywhere else.

Singita Ebony & Boulders Lodges and Castleton Camp are located in the Sabi Sand on 18 000 hectares (45 000 acres) of private land in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve on the western border of the Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga province, South Africa.
By road
Recommended route from Johannesburg: N12/N4 to Nelspruit. R40 from Nelspruit to Hazyview. R536 from Hazyview towards Paul Kruger gate. After 36 km, pass Lisbon Store, then turn left onto gravel road. Pay R80.00 (ZAR) vehicle entrance fee (subject to change). Enter Sabi Sand Reserve at Shaw's Gate. Follow Singita signs to lodge (approximately 28 km).
