Palapye and Mahalapye are two roadside towns with nothing of note except for places to stay along the way, so It was a long drive early sleep, awake early breakfast then back to South Africa.
All except for 35km on tar roads in a normal car, the money I saved on renting a 4wd and the extra fuel more than paid for the trips I paid for to go to areas that my 2wd could not access, the officials had been ok, the people friendly, the wildlife spectacular and I hadn't spent a fortune.
Put it on your list to visit soon.
