Kawasan Falls Cebu Philippines

It is a five minute walk up some steps past two lovely shaded pools up to the next falls, these pools were the nicest to swim in, fairly quiet (by comparison) and cool and refreshing.

Then you get to the next level and find once again the falls are overshadowed by tables to rent with crowds of people basically doing whatever they want ...

Wander a little away from the crowds off the main path and you will find some beautiful nature, the little fish in the quiet pools, dragonflies ..

If you want a day out with lots of other people in a beautiful setting then Kawasan is for you, if you want to enjoy nature, peace and quiet and hope to see it being looked after and preserved for the future then please avoid, these photos were taken on a 'quiet' day at the falls, a non holiday off season monday ...
