Galloway hills, the Old School is a luxury 4 bed roomed, detached, Victorian
former school which has been renovated to a high standard and extended
to form a spacious, light and airy cottage. With all the comforts of home
and beautiful views, the house has a large, well appointed kitchen/dining
room with a lovely pillar box red Agra, a rangemaster range cooker and
a sleek black glass side-by-side fridge.
The Old School Accommodation
The bright, spacious kitchen-perfect for family get-together's around the dinner table. The large and bright lounge has a Jotul wood burning stove, beautiful views over the valley from the huge picture windows and French doors leading to the lovely courtyard garden. With a spacious en suite shower room, the master bedroom looks onto the courtyard garden. The Stone room, the patio room and the conservatory room offer very comfy beds and views to the surrounding large garden and countryside beyond. For rainy days the lounge has a 40" LCD TV, DVD, Wii with various games, and books and games aplenty. The Old School has wireless internet access, and music systems with CD players, tuners and ipod docks. Situated a stones throw from the Old Schoolhouse, the two cottages are perfect for weddings or large family gatherings.
