Welcome to Prince Edward IslandPrince Edward Island is Canada's smallest and greenest province. Cradled on the waves of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, PEI is known for the vivid colours of its gently rolling landscape, surrounded by miles of sandy beaches and red sandstone cliffs. This 'red-head' island is a low-lying hump of iron-rich red sandstone
and earth. Visitors can not help falling in love with the PEI's
charm and relaxed atmosphere. The warmest and driest months of the
year is July and August, this is when the entire island is in festival
mode, but in winter times snow can be found meters deep. |
