Kocherbaumwald Forest camp - Namibia
The Quiver tree Forest, with its curious and picturesque trees,
can be viewed on the Farm Gariganus, about 14 km north-east from
Keetmanshoop.
The place to stay when you visit this national monument is the Quiver
tree Forest Rest Camp, where you will also see the amazing dolorite
rock formations referred to as Giants Playground.
Your hosts will be Coenie and Ingrid Nolte, who will accommodate
you in en - suite bedrooms, bungalows for self-caterers (with dinner,
bed and breakfast option) and camping sites with ablution facilities.
Accommodation is offered in 2 guest houses, 8 Igloo bungalows,
camping sites and a family room.
The first guest house has a double room with a
double bed, a private shower and a walk-in closet plus air-conditioning.
There are also 2 double rooms, each with 2 single beds, a fully
equipped kitchen and lounge with a mini-bar. |

igloo bungalows each have 3 single beds and each igloo bungalow has a

a walk-in closet. The room has 1 double bed and 3 single beds.
Camping sites

Where is Quiver Tree Forest Camp?
Located on the farm Gariganus just 13km North-east of Keetmanshoop. Just
North of Keetmanshoop turn from the B1 on the C16. Pass hospital, turn
on Road 29. Just follow road signs to Quiver tree Forest Rest Camp.
