Welcome to a Garden View!
A Garden View B&B is located on a very quiet street on over
a half acre parcel of land. This park-like setting features century-old
linden and chestnut trees as well as "Communities in Bloom"
award winning gardens. A short walk to downtown fine dining, live
theatre, Victoria Park, boardwalk and tennis courts. A short drive
will take you to beaches, golf and deep-sea fishing.
A Garden View Accommodation
You may choose from three spacious, comfortable, well-appointed
rooms: queen with ensuite bath includes a separate shower, queen
with separate bath and two single beds with separate bath.

All bathrooms contain a Thermo-masseur ultra tub and separate shower.
Each bedroom contains cable TV, telephone and overlooks award-winning
country-style gardens. Relax in either the elegant, bright sitting room
with desks, piano, artwork or the outside garden. Full breakfast, fresh
home baking. Will cater to dietary requirements upon request. A Garden
View is pleased to offer our guests a "smoke free" environment
and free WiFi.
The Rooms:
The Hydrangea ( Queen bed )
This bright room has south and west facing windows which allows you to
enjoy the blooming perennials all summer long. The Hydrangea provides
a warm and restful atmosphere with a gracious ensuite bathroom includes
a separate shower. Luxuriate in a large thermo-masseur tub.
The Geranium ( Queen bed )
The Geranium is a bright Victorian-era room with east and south exposures
that overlooks perennial gardens. The private bathroom has a very spacious
shower and a thermo-masseur bath, which will further your sense of well
being.
The Lilac ( Two single beds )
The Lilac is a charming room with two very comfortable twin beds. In the
early summer you can enjoy lilac blooms from its west window as well as
full sun by mid-afternoon. Both the west and north facing windows overlook
our ever changing perennial gardens. Its private bath has a very spacious
shower and a thermo-masseur tub.
All of our bedrooms have cable TV, artwork by local artists, fine linens
and other amenities to help make your stay a comfortable and memorable
one.
Breakfast
Enjoy a full breakfast in either our dining room, which overlooks a perennial
garden, or on our spacious deck. We cater to specific dietary requests.
Amenities
· Take a short stroll to Victoria Park with its beautiful habourside
boardwalk and public tennis courts
· A leisurely 15-minute walk will take you to the birthplace of
Canada, where you can enjoy live theatre, historic walking tours, fine
dining and waterfront shopping
· A 10-minute drive takes you to either of Charlottetown's two
golf courses
· A short drive takes you to white or red sandy beaches, deep-sea
fishing and over a dozen golf courses
· Explore PEI from our central location: 1.3 hour drive to the
eastern tip of the Island and 2.1 hours to the western tip of the province.
Location
From the Confederation Bridge at Borden-Carleton (45 minute drive):
Follow the Trans-Canada Highway east toward Charlottetown. Watch for the
Holiday Inn Express, followed closely Tim Hortons, both on right. At the
set of lights at Tim Hortons, turn right onto North River Road. Continue
on North River Rd. through a series of stop lights until you come to a
stop sign. Proceed straight through this intersection and make a right
at the very next intersection (Sidmount Ave.). We're the third single
family residence on the right (27 Sidmount). Watch for the Island stone
sign.
From the Wood Islands Ferry Terminal (45 minute drive):
Follow the Trans-Canada Highway west into Charlottetown. After crossing
the Hillsborough Bridge coming into Charlottetown, turn left at the first
set of lights onto Water Street. Proceed 5 blocks to Queen St., turn right
proceed 8 blocks along Queen St., turn left onto Euston St., proceed 6
blocks along Euston to North River Road. Turn right, proceed 4 blocks
along North River Rd. to Sidmount Ave. on left. We're the third single
family residence on the right (27 Sidmount). Watch for the Island stone
sign.
