Our Farm
We are on an active family farm with one hundred beef cattle, llamas,
and donkeys.
We have Angus, Limousin, and crossbred cattle, and we show steers.
If you wish to
visit the animals, we can walk with you in the fields, or on most
days you can watch
the animals in the fields.
Obanbrae Farm Bed & Breakfast Accommodation
Our home is a two-storey cedar house, and the green fields surround
it, plus flower and vegetable gardens. We have a screened-in covered
patio, for relaxing and dining.

We have two clean comfortable guest rooms with queen beds. A single sofa
bed is also in one room, and a cot is also available. Rooms have fans,
iron, ironing board, local TV, and reading material. Full bath is available
for guest use. Soap, towels, shampoo, hair dryer, and iron are available.
Guests are welcome to make themselves at home and use our living room
with satellite HD TV/VCR/DVD and books; high speed wireless internet;
our kitchen; dining room; and screened in covered patio. Beach chairs
and beach towels are available for your use, if you are returning to our
B&B.
Dining
Light refreshments await you, including homemade treats each day. Our
hearty breakfast has hot and cold foods, with fresh fruit always available.
There will be homemade breads, jams, fresh muffins, hot treats, cereals,
yogurt, juices, tea, and coffee.
Smoking Policy
We have non-smoking in our home. Smoking is permitted on the patio.
Pets
Dogs are permitted. We have our new dog Bear in residence.
Our Island
Come and enjoy your Prince Edward Island vacation with us. We are in a
great central location (five minutes from Charlottetown, and one and a
half to two hours away each end of the Island), so you can tour the Island
each day and return, or you can be 5-30 minutes away from red sand beaches,
white sand dune beaches, theatre, fine dining, shopping, golfing, harness
racing, racino, deep-sea fishing, ceilidhs, lobster suppers, and historic
sites. If you wish, we can assist you with your holiday plans. We have
maps and tourist information available free for you.
Location
Turn off Trans Canada highway #1 onto York Point Road (Route 248 south
end) (between Charlottetown and Cornwall). House is located at 69 York
Point Road.
