Relax, enjoy the view, rest in comfortable rooms, enjoy the breakfast
chatter. Surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of the River Clyde
and Rustico Bay, Caleb's Outlook is located on forty-five pastoral
acres nestled in the rolling hills and farmland of New Glasgow,
PEI.
On the property is an organic farm, specializing in small fruits
and vegetables, that has been in operation for nine years. Guests
have the option to take a walk in the gardens, explore the shoreline,
or use the canoes at the waterfront from a floating dock.

The chalet style home offers three comfortable and beautifully decorated
rooms with hardwood throughout, all have a full private bath. The breakfast
is sumptuous and the view from the dining room is a feast for the eyes.
Caleb's Outlook offers a quiet setting to read, relax, take in the sun
or renew relationships. The hosts, Jim and Betty, enjoy the interesting
conversation with the guests as we relax on the deck or in the comfortable
living area. We are confident that you will find Caleb's Outlook to your
liking.
Caleb's Outlook Highlights

We have three comfortable rooms available with private bath, two with
their own private deck. Two of our rooms can accommodate more than a couple.
The Terrace Suite is more suited to families with children. The Heritage
room contains two 3/4 beds and can accommodate an extra cot.
Our guests meet in the dining room, living room or back deck for refreshments
and conversation. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 9:00 AM. fresh fruit
is our speciality in season with homemade bread or biscuits. A tea cupboard
is available afternoon and evenings.
Room with a View
Room with a View lives up to its name. A second level deck gives an incredible
view of the valley looking east. The room has a comfortable king bed with
his and hers closets and your own private bath. It has two comfortable
chairs and a ottoman. There are two portable chairs for sitting out on
the deck. Honeymooners find this room cosy and very comfortable. The avid
bird watcher may get a rare photo of an eagle as they roost on tree tops
near by.
Heritage Room
Large room on second floor with two 3/4 beds. Acorn headboards from schooner
in early 1900's Room for additional cot for third person (surcharges apply)
historical photos and some brief family history and artifacts. mirrored
dresser, side tables, closet to hang clothes. Large bathroom, tiled.
Tarrace Suite
This Suite is on two levels. The upper level contains a loft, closet,
king bed and full private bath. The lower level contains a sitting room
with Satalite TV/DVD player and loveseat sofa. It has a walkout (Terrace
doors) to a private deck facing east within view of the rose garden.
Amenities in All Rooms
Each room is tastefully decorated, hardwood floors and tile in the full
bathrooms. Luggage racks are available. Located on a hill we have pleasant
breezes most nights for comfortable sleeping. In addition rotating fans
are avaiable in each room. Ironing boards and hair dryers are available
on request. Each bathroom has shampoo and conditioner and bar soap available.
Towels, sheets and bathmats are changed regularly.

Services and Amenities
Besides the good food, fresh produce Caleb's outlook is located on fourty-five
acres and 1800 feet of water frontage. Guests can walk around and explore
the gardens and hedgerows. There are canoes at the shore for use by registrared
guests at their own risk, to explore the adjacent waterways. In season
guests are encouraged to pick small fruit when its ready and available.
We are developing a herb garden and a rose garden, any suggestions from
experienced gardeners would be welcome. Guests who love nature are often
surprised by the diversity of wildlife they find on the property, both
animals, birds, and insects.
Dining & Entertainment
The dining room has a view of the valley, gardens and the River Clyde.
The deck off of dining room is available for guests to have a private
breakfast (weather permitting). Guests use it to view gardens with their
morning coffee/tea/juice. Gluten free breakfasts available on request.
Please arrange before arrival.
Check-In & Check-Out Times & Policies
Guests may check-In after 2:00 PM, if you plan to check-in later than
6.00 PM we would ask you to make arrangememts with the owners. Please
relax in the morning around breakfast on the day of leaving as long as
you vacate the rooms by 10.00 AM so it can be cleaned for the next guests.
Express checkout can be arranged the evening before. Receipts are provided
on request.
Smoking
This is a non-smoking establishment. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Children
Children are welcome. Our limit may be the number we can accommodate at
the breakfast table.

Things to do at Caleb's Outlook
Name the Ice Cream U-make:
"Taste the difference you make!" - fresh organically grown fruit
and homemade ice cream!
Start by selecting the fruit you want to use and make the ice cream. Choose
your favorite flavours, churn the ice cream with your friends and family,
then meet the Vanderstoel family at the adjacent dairy farm and let them
show you the computer controlled robotic milker and dairy operation.
Enjoy the delicious results and the View at one of our picnic areas.
At Caleb's Outlook see how small fruits are produced. Sample the different
flavours that have been produced. Harvest fruit in season, use what you
need for the ice cream you plan to make. Some hands on churning will produce
the final product for you to enjoy. Relax in the picnic areas on the hill
or near the water or explore the 45 acre farm.
This is a learning experience designed for the whole family. Discover
how a modern dairy farm operates and produces safe quality milk. Learn

delivers delicious and nutritious products to the consumer.
