Inhambane is in the southern part of Mozambique (south east Africa)
and is popular for beach holidays. There are plenty of activities
for all the family at the resorts on the Barra peninsula, Tofo village
and Guinjata Bay. Manta Rays and Whale Sharks are big attractions
for Scuba Divers and Big Game Fishing is also a big attractions
for anglers and fishermen.
Some lodges in the Inhambane area are family friendly while others
do not cater for children at all. There are family friendly beach

Tofo

Tofo is a quiet village linked by tar road to Inhambane
town with a relaxed atmosphere, beautiful beaches, great surf
and excellent dive sites where you can regularly spot Manta
rays. Dive centres also offer daily trips to snorkel with
Whalesharks and from July to October Humpback whales can be
spotted from the shore at Tofo point and Tofinho.

Linga Linga Peninsula
|
Linga Linga Peninsula has lovely beaches and the warm
crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean lapping at its shores.
The main attraction is relaxation and fishing - record breaking
Marlin have been caught from fishing charters departing from
Linga Linga.
The easiest way to reach the Peninsula is by boat from Inhambane
or Maxixe.
